Tatum had a tough time with Phoenix’s defense today, finishing 8-of-22 from the field, and the Suns did a really nice job of taking him out of the game down the stretch with double teams — which resulted in him being held to just three points on 1-of-4 shooting through the final frame of action. For Boston to be successful, Tatum will have to do a better job of asserting himself late in games, regardless of the defensive schemes other teams are throwing at him.
